Here is a ricettina (little recipe) that everyone will literally die for!!
Ingredients:
- 2 rolls of ready puff pastry dough
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 400 gr. Ricotta cheese
- 200 gr. Swiss cheese
- 100 gr. Parmesan
- 200 gr. prosciutto
Preparation:
Line a round baking pan with baking paper and puff pastry dough. In a bowl mix the ricotta, eggs and parmesan. Add the diced ham, swiss cheese and mix thoroughly. Put the batter into the pan and cover with another roll of puff pastry, making sure edges are well sealed. Brush with the egg surface of the cake with a fork and let us the holes. Finally bake for about half an hour at 180 degrees Celsius.
If you prefer the delicate flavor, you can replace with other types of cheese, such as fontina, caciotta the cow or mixed or mozzarella.
